Learn how to tie the Evil Wizard
The Evil Wizard is a fun take on Ben Baxter’s Bearded Baetis. This jigged euro bug is a fun and easy tie pattern that will definitely land you fish. We enjoy fishing this pattern in a dry dropper set up in small creeks here in Colorado. However we are confident that you will catch fish on the Evil Wizard in your home water as well. The Evil Wizard does a great job at imitating a small black mayfly or stonefly, so if you know you’re fishing water with either of these bugs present, consider using the Evil Wizard.
