How to tie a Silver Bullet Baetis
The Silver Bullet Baetis has been a key pattern for us this season. We have fished it in tailwaters, freestones, and lakes. It doesn’t matter where you’re fishing the Silver Bullet Baetis; it always seems to land us a fish. We like to tie this pattern up in sizes 12-18, depending on the river you’re fishing. Here in Colorado, we like to tie this pattern in sizes 14-12 for our big rivers and size 16-18 for small water. Regardless of how you like to fish the Silver Bullet Baetis, it is a fish-catching machine and should be added to your box this summer season.
