What is your favorite kind of candy? For me, my money is on Caddis. If I were a fish that is. The Caddis Candy really fits the bill. It is an attractor-style caddis larva. This fly has a lot of flash and pop and can move a fish out from under a bank or up from a deep dark pool. The version tied in this video is an unweighted fly, but this pattern can perform great when weighted fished in a variety of rigs. The most opportunistic time for this fly is during the warm summer months but it can also produce some fish throughout the year if presented correctly.
