The Mighty Midge
This is a great pattern for picky trout. Developed by Umpqua tier Matt McCannel. This fly gets the job done, tie the Mighty Midge in any color combination and it is sure to turn some fish. Representing a midge larva the Mighty Midge fly should be fished towards the bottom of your rig and in the deeper part of the water column. The flash can be mixed up to match your needs. The flash makes it stick out as its bumping a long in the current.

Thanks
Hello Dan,
Color would depend on what hatch your wanting to match. I typically like red, olive and brown. Cream is always a great color as well.
