“I can not believe how awesome this rod is in the hand, as soon as I took it out of the package and put it together I could not wait to slap a reel on it and sling it. Incredible, I have several fly rods from many different manufacturers but this rod begs to be fished. I am a big fan of Redington anyway, but this rod absolutely rocks. And special thanks to AvidMax and their customer service dept. I think they are the best I have ever dealt with. The Vapen I ordered was upgraded to a Crux, so I have to say my 5 star rating is not only for Redington for such awesome rods but for AvidMax and their customer service to a first time consumer, the Crux rod I received is incredible, without a doubt the best throwing rod I have had in my hands and I have fly fished for years. It very nearly will cast itself, a working man’s dream rod!”
