How to tie a Bloody Mari
A Soft hackle that fishes deep. This little nymph is a great summertime bug. It is big and juicy with lifelike movement in the water. A build based on the classic Prince Nymph; the Bloody Mari takes it to another level. The red ribbing paired with the long soft hackle collar make this one irresistible fly. I love fishing this bug on a long dropper under a large stonefly or hopper. It can also be a great anchor fly on a euro rig or as a lead bug on an indicator setup. When the fish are after larger bugs fish the Bloody Mari and you won’t be disappointed.
