How to tie the Epoxy Mysis
Some tailwaters in the west can be tricky. The fish are well fed and have seen many types of artificial flies and presentations. There are a select few that are dominated by one very prolific bug, The Mysis shrimp. These little crustaceans were originally placed to feed Kokanee which, have made the fish in the rivers below the reservoirs extra healthy. The Epoxy Mysis is an excellent realistic imitation of this creature. You may even want to fish three in a row when fishing these technical tailwaters.
