How to tie the Electric Caddis
365 days out of the year Caddis flies are available to trout in our Colorado rivers. Even when trout are not inhaling them off the top, they are eating them subsurface. The Electric Caddis is an excellent option for almost any river any time of year. While you may not be seeing blanket hatches, do not underestimate its effectiveness. The Electric Caddis best imitates the American Grannom, or the Green Sedge which has that unmistakable neon green or green body in its larvae stage.
