“The Glam Rocker nymphs are a lineup of patterns from Colorado-based angler, John Newbury. This Micro Stone version of the Glam Rocker can be fished throughout the year with good success. However, it works particularly well for matching small winter stoneflies. This fly checks all the right boxes for me; It is simple to tie, durable, and catches fish consistently. It can be tied on your preferred hook from sizes 16-22. Brave the cold and get this fly low and slow!”

Nice fly! I really like the effect created by two-wire abdomens. The appearance of segmentation is built right in. I’ve even tied some with three colors of wire. They work well.
