“I’ve shifted from an Orvis Guide Sling Pack to this Fishpond waterproof hip pack and love it! It is nearly perfect. The only issue (and why I gave it 4 stars) is if you put your net in the slot between the belt and the pack, you have to move the net every time you want to get something out of the pack. Other than that, the main compartment is completely waterproof as it has been completely dunked under water when I’m fly fishing at the beach in the surf.
Highly recommend this for anybody looking for a waterproof pack that doesn’t put all the weight on your shoulders.“
