How to Tie a Tak’s Chironomid: Fly Tying Video

Created by Rick Takahashi (Tak) this is a go to still water fly pattern. It has brought me success time and time again in the past. Tied traditionally on a bronze hook the translucent body gives a look that can’t be beat when trying to match the clear tarnish shuck of the Chironomid pupae.

Join us every week for Fly Tying Tuesday as we take on a new pattern!  Subscribe to our YouTube channel to see it first, and for all our other product, how-to, and fly fishing and outdoor videos.
