Review: “I sure wish I’d bought this simple magnifier first, as it would have given me better results for a lot less money. As a recent convert to fly fishing after many years of no fishing, I’ve had to buy a lot of new “stuff”. Some because of the new style of fishing and some because my physical needs have changed with age. My ability to see closeup to tie tiny flies onto tiny line ain’t what it was 20 years ago, so I read a bunch of reviews, looked at many options and went with a $100 pair of polarized sunglasses with magnifiers built in to the bottom of the lenses. They work fine but not in low light and not in high heat or low cold conditions, both of which cause fogging. Bottom line, I still need to be switching glasses. The Cap Magnifiers are the perfect solution for me–I can wear regular shades during the day (that don’t fog) and none at all in low light. When I need to see close up, I just flip down these magnifiers and do the job. Results? Less time screwing around and more time fishing.”
