Review: It is very light with very high quality materials and workmanship. I bought the Shortstix for kayak fishing, where it is sometimes difficult to deal with a conventional 9′ rod. It seems as if the casting stroke is different because of the shorter length, but I think that with practice, it will be very comfortable and serve the purpose well.
