Video tutorial courtesy of our friends at InTheRiffle
Check out the the Shot Glass Baetis, developed by Shea Gunkel. The Shot Glass Baetis combines a life like profile with some “buggy” translucent materials. For this fly you can tie it using a variety of different colors, with Red, Olive, Brown and White being some of the most popular. You can also swap out the bead in it for many other colors as well. However, the red bead in the thorax is InTheRiffle’s favorite!
Now just sit back and watch the James from InTheRiffle tie the Shot Glass Baetis! When your done though, it’s game on! Let’s see what you can do and what you can catch!
Tie this pattern and send us a photo and we’ll post it on our site! Or hashtag #avidmax on a social media channel with your photo.
